Robert Paul Brown (b. July 5, 1876, Glencoe, Iowa; d. June 17, 1962, Vancouver, British Columbia), commonly called "Bob", was a professional baseball player, manager, and team owner.〔(Vancouver History ) Retrieved 12 May 2015.〕
Brown's career started at Notre Dame in the 1890s. He went on to be a professional baseball player from 1900 until 1909, with teams in Oregon, Washington, and Montana. He was a member of the Spokane Indians when they won the 1908 Pacific Coast League championship.〔(Vancouver History ) Retrieved 12 May 2015.〕
After his playing days ended, Brown went on to be a "shrewd" promoter and owner.
